Slideshare Creation Date: October 25, 2013 Date of Update: October 25, 2013 Version: V1.0 Person-in-Charge: Jeane L. Paguio Flow of Events PRECONDITIONS: 1. The Slideshare User has a registered account in Slideshare. 2. The Slideshare User has an active Facebook and/ or Linkedln account. MAIN SUCCESS SCENARIO: 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. 6. 7. Slideshare will ask which account the User will use in logging in. User will log in using his registered Slideshare account. Slideshare will ask for the username or email address and password of the User. User will input asked information. Slideshare will process and verify the information input. Slideshare will direct the User to his newsfeed. Use-case successfully ends. ALTERNATIVE SEQUENCE: A2a. User chooses to log in using his Facebook account. 1. Slideshare will open a window to Facebook log in. 2. Slideshare will ask for the User’s Facebook log in details. 3. Proceed to step 5. A2b. User chooses to log in using his Linkedln account. 1. Slideshare will open a window to Linkedln log in. 2. Slideshare will ask for the User’s Linkedln log in details. 3. Proceed to step 5.

Slideshare Creation Date: October 25, 2013 Date of Update: October 25, 2013 Version: V1.0 Person-in-Charge: Jeane L. Paguio Flow of Events PRECONDITIONS: 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. The Slideshare User has a registered account in Slideshare. The Slideshare User has an active Facebook and/ or Linkedln account. The Slideshare User has already logged in to his account in the use-case. The Slideshare User has already prepared the file he will upload. The Slideshare User is using an ordinary account and has not purchased the Pro account. MAIN SUCCESS SCENARIO: 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. 6. 7. The User clicks on the Upload button in his homepage. Slideshare opens a window where the User can locate the file he will be uploading. User selects the file he will upload. Slideshare initializes, uploads, sends, converts and then publish the selected file. Slideshare asks if User will add details to its published file. User chooses not to add any more details. Use-case successfully ends ALTERNATIVE SEQUENCE: A6a. User chooses to add details to his published file. 1. User clicks on the “Add details” link. 2. Slideshare directs the User to “Add details” page. 3. User adds details (title, description, tags, category, language, and background color) to his published file. 4. Slideshare processes and uploads the mp3 file and directs the User to a new page. User is asked to synchronize the mp3 file to the presentation. User publishes his updated file. The Slideshare User has a registered account in Slideshare. 7. The Slideshare User has an active Facebook and/ or Linkedln account. 8. The Slideshare User has already logged in to his account in the use-case. MAIN SUCCESS SCENARIO: User hovers cursor over the “Browse” link. User selects the “Featured” link. Slideshare directs User to page where featured posts are posted. User browses the featured posts. User scrolls to look for featured posts he finds interesting. Steps 4-5 repeats until User clicks on a post he wants to view or when User decides to browse on another category. 6. Use-case successfully ends. 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. ALTERNATIVE SEQUENCE: A4a. User decides to like post. 1. User hovers over a post he likes and clicks on the like button. 2. Proceed to step 5-6. A4b. User decides to share post. 1. Slideshare opens a new window where User is provided the link of the post he wants to share and the option to send the post by email. 3. Proceed to step 5-6.

Liked posts are updated. 2. Chosen posts are downloaded and saved to the User’s personal computer. 3. Posts are successfully shared.
