    1. 1. Xtra-what? “If you can type, you can make a movie.” A revolutionary approach to movie making presentations that builds on an almost universally held skill typing. You type something; and it’s turned into a movie. On the web and on your desktop. (http://www.xtranormal.com/about_us/) Utilizes a wide variety of 3D characters and settings  Set-by-step storyboard component turns you into the director, producer, and writer…all at once!

Why Use Xtranormal? Because it’s so much more than just making animated movies!  A fun tool to practice functional language for presentations, testimonials, giving the news, creating a commercial for products or services, interviews, hosting a talk show, a sitcom, and more!  Creative outlet for visual learners or as an artistic medium for otherwise uninteresting topics.  YOU are in control of what goes into the movie- making process, and as an end result you receive a quality visual to showcase your hard work!
    3. 3. Xtranormal in the Library! Turn a favorite book into your own 3D flick! LPL’s own Xtranormal Movie Night Social networking opportunities  ‘Like’ or Retweet Xtranormal movies made by, in, or for your library! Pass it on…teach your friends!
    4. 4. How it works Step 1: Create an account at www.xtranormal.com (don’t worry, it’s free!) Step 2: Select ‘Make Movies’ from the top of the page, choose a collection, and number of actors you’d like to use
    5. 5. How it works Step 3: After the collection is generated, go through the tabs to choose set, actors, and sounds/music
    6. 6. How it works Step 4: You’re now ready to fill in your storyboard! Use the toolbar (pictured below) to input camera angles, gestures, pauses, sounds and more!
    7. 7. How it works As you progress through the storyboard, Xtranormal provides several options to preview your work, while making it just as easy to save and publish.
