Intro to LTE<br />LTE (Long Term Evolution) will enable networks to offer the higher data throughput to mobile terminals needed in order to deliver new and advanced mobile broadband services.<br />The primary objectives of this network evolution are to provide<br />these services with a quality at least equivalent to what an end-user<br />can enjoy today using their fixed broadband access at home, and to<br />reduce operational expenses by means of introducing flat IP<br />architecture.<br /><br />

Eric von Hippel (von Hippel 1986) of MIT and others observed that many products and services are actually developed or at least refined, by users, at the site of implementation and use. These ideas are then moved back into the supply network.<br />Participatory design is an approach to design that attempts to actively involve the end users in the design process to help ensure that the product designed meets their needs and is usable.<br /><br /><br />
