  1. 1. NoodleBib InstructionsCreating citations in MLA, APA, or Chicago style
  2. 2. Access instructionsGo to• Click on the Citations tab• Click on NoodleBib Full Version (if you only need to cite one or two sources, you may want to consider NoodleBib Express)• Make note of the username and password if you are off- campus• Login using your Personal ID and password if you are a returning user, or create a free new one• Click on Bibliography in the upper part of the screen
  3. 3. Start by choosing a styleIf choosing MLA, select theAdvanced version
  4. 4. Please note thehighlight above
  5. 5. Give a name to your list
  6. 6. What type of source are you citing?Choose the best match from the drop-down menu then click onCreate CitationAnswer the questions that are asked on the subsequent pages
  7. 7. When you arrive at the CreateCitation page, begin filling in the form Cut-and-paste if possible to avoid spelling errors
  8. 8. Unsure of what to enter in a certain field?Get help by reading the instructions to the right of each box
  9. 9. Help pops up when youclick on a blue hyperlink within the instructions!
  10. 10. When you’re done,click on Check For Errors
  11. 11. If you see any red boxes, read theinstructions and make the necessary changes
  12. 12. Continue adding sources as you compile your list
  13. 13. Get expert help for citingtricky sources
  14. 14. When you arefinished, click onPrint/Export tohave your entriesformatted andprepared to turn into your professor
  15. 15. Keep multiple works cited or bibliographies for your classes in one spot
