  8. 8. Geofilters are special overlays that communicate the “where and when” of a Snap in a fun way, whether you're sending it to a friend or adding it to your story. What is a geofilter?

  10. 10. Geofilters help enhance your snaps, providing creativity and exposure for your institution.
  11. 11. How well did our snapchat posts do being in the national spotlight? Many posts received between 5,000 and 1.3 million views. Here’s two highlights:
  12. 12. For 1 week, a different geofilter appeared each day by the Wildcat statue on campus… Monday Tuesday Wednesday Thursday Friday
  13. 13. 1. Use the special geofilters and snap it to UofNH. 2. Students were then entered in our daily drawing for a UNH sweatshirt and entered for a chance to win grand prize: 4 tickets to Frozen Fenway! 3. Daily winners announced next morning. 4. Grand prize winner announced night of #UNH150 ‘Hear Us Roar’ event. To enter, students needed to:

  25. 25. • DINING  SNAPS   • ACADEMIC  ORIENTED  SNAPS  (classroom,  labs,  library,  .ield  research) • FAVORITE  SPOTS  ON  CAMPUS    (with  video  explanation)   • OUTSIDE  THE  CLASSROOM  INVOLVEMENT  (Campus  Rec,  MUB,  student  groups,  sports,  etc.)   • HOUSING  (Where  do  you  live,  what’s  it  like,  etc.)     DO  NOT  GIVE  OUT  YOUR  ROOM  NUMBER • ANSWER  THIS  QUESTION  AT  SOME  POINT  IN  YOUR  TAKEOVER:            “Why  did  I  choose  to  come  to  UNH?”   • WORK  /  INTERNSHIPS  /  EXPERIENCE  /  Post-­‐College  Plans   • OPTIONAL:  Show  Downtown  Durham  or  other  seacoast  communities              if  you’re  traveling  or  live  there.

USEFUL  TIPS.   • Use  UNH  geo-­‐.ilters  as  much  as  possible   • Videos  are  much  more  engaging  than  photos   • Use  text,  emojis,  and  drawings  on  screen   • If  appropriate  questions  are  asked,  answer  in  the  Snap-­‐story.   • SAVE  YOUR  SNAPS!            Download  and  save  your  snaps  so  we  can  recreate  the  story  in  a  video.   • Be  Yourself.  Use  your  voice  and  have  fun.
