The leading health education partnership that combinesK-12 schools, higher education, healthcare providers andthe workforce center system to address needs and improve the quality and quantity of healthcare workers in the East Central Minnesota and Western Wisconsin region. The project will touch almost 10,000 people in our region and provide a host of resources: $300,000 in tuition assistance to healthcare students Web-enabled game for Nursing Assistant students and workers aimed at skill enhancement New Medical Laboratory Technician degree through a partnership with Lake Superior College Opportunities for assistance with childcare, transportation and other barriers students face High fidelity patient simulators for life-like training activities at partner colleges and healthcare facilities Capacity-building laboratory and nursing clinical experience coordination Standardized orientation for nursing students to increase hands-on time & reduce costs Continuous Quality Improvement (LEAN) training delivered to healthcare industry partners
