The Break Up Both artists are wearing warm clothing which represents a desire for ‘real love.’ The way that they have no ‘sexual appearance’ for the male gaze shows that they are not lustful but as a fact are guiltless and innocent.These two scenes are from twodifferent songs with different Alisha Keys – If I Ain’t Got Youmeanings. ‘The Break Up’ is about themain female artist not wanting to bein a relationship with her boyfriend,where as ‘If I Ain’t Got You’, is aboutthe main female artist ‘Alisha Keys’missing her loved one and declaringthat if she hasnt got him, then shefeels incomplete and lost.
