  • The Indonesian Youth Conference started in 2009 with only £550, wanting to gather young people from all over Indonesia at a conference for the first time. invested a lot of time in inviting youngpeople to follow them on Twitter and like theirFacebook page. Within months, IYC gathered over 11,500 likes on Facebook and 1,500 followers on Twitter. They built a website that had over 200,000 hits in less than a month. This helped IYC secure over US$3000 of external funding, making the first Indonesian Youth Conference (and one of our first Community Action Projects) possible.
