must take each test BY THAT DATE!
What do you do if you
finish a module early?
You should rework the homework and
review, improving your score, and even
the Quiz. If you have everything at 100%,
you can ask your teacher if you can
move ahead early.
The Final
The final is comprehensive and
covers the entire class. It will be
given the last week of class.

MyMathLab
The online math courses at Mendocino College use a
different website.
The Website is known as MyMathLab.
Login to MyMathLab
In an Internet browser, navigate to
http://www.MyMathLab.com
If you’ve previously taken an online
math course at Mendocino College,
you already have an account.
However, you still should follow
these instructions to register your
new course on MyMathLab.
You will need two things:
1. Course ID (From Etudes)
2. Access Code (From the
MyLab packet included with
the textbook or purchased
seperately)
Login to MyMathLab
In an Internet browser, navigate to
http://www.MyMathLab.com
Now, click on ‘Student’ under
‘Register’
(Once you have registered in the
MyMathLab course, you’ll come back
and click on ‘Sign In’ to access the
course.)
Login to MyMathLab
In an Internet browser, navigate to
http://www.MyMathLab.com
After registering, click on “Enroll in a
New Course” and follow the links.
Login to MyMathLab
Next, you will enter your CourseID. You
can find this on your Syllabus.
Login to MyMathLab
If you already have an account
with Pearson, you can enter
your Username and Password
here.
If you do not have an account
with Pearson (you’ve never
taken online math before, for
example) you’ll click here to
create an account.
Login to MyMathLab
Once you have created
your account or signed
in to your existing
account, you’ll be
brought to the page
asking your for your
access code.
Login to MyMathLab
If you have an access code
already, you’ll click here
to enter it.
(You may have purchased
the access code by itself
or with your book.)
Login to MyMathLab
If you have not yet
purchased an Access
Code, and are only
planning to purchase
the Access Code
without the book, you
can purchase it online
with a credit card by
clicking here.
(Prices may vary.)
Login to MyMathLab
If you are waiting for your
book and access code,
or financial aid, or
payday, or…? whatever
your reason may be,
you can get a
temporary, 14 day
access code by clicking
here and following the
directions.
Requirements
1. Should you Buy a Textbook?
Not necessarily, because an online version of the book is available in MyLab with just
the Access Code. Here are your options:
Buy a textbook – The biggest advantage of having a book is that you can study
offline. And if you buy it new at the Mendocino College bookstore (in Ukiah,
Lakeport, or Willits), it comes bundled with a MyLab Access Code.
Get a Used Book – This is fine, but you also will need to have your own MyLab Access
Code, since the codes are linked to a specific student.
Buy a stand-alone code – This is a less expensive option, and gets you into the course
where you can use the online textbook (downside: can’t scroll, must click page
to page.) You may purchase it at the Mendocino College bookstore, or online
with a credit card during the MyLab registration process.
[Note: If you plan to buy a textbook off-campus, check your course syllabus for the correct ISBNs
to be sure you get the book and an access code.]
What if you are unable to get
a book right away?
If you are unable to purchase a book or an access code
right away, you can (and must, so that you do not get
behind) utilize a temporary 14-day access code.
You will find the option for this when you are going
through the procedure of accessing the class.
When asked for an access code, you will see an option for
the temporary code.
You must upgrade to a full access code within the 17 days,
or you risk not being able to complete the class.

  • 75. Login to MyMathLab If you have not yet purchased an Access Code, and are only planning to purchase the Access Code without the book, you can purchase it online with a credit card by clicking here. (Prices may vary.)
  • 76. Login to MyMathLab If you are waiting for your book and access code, or financial aid, or payday, or…? whatever your reason may be, you can get a temporary, 14 day access code by clicking here and following the directions.
  • 77. Requirements 1. Should you Buy a Textbook? Not necessarily, because an online version of the book is available in MyLab with just the Access Code. Here are your options: Buy a textbook – The biggest advantage of having a book is that you can study offline. And if you buy it new at the Mendocino College bookstore (in Ukiah, Lakeport, or Willits), it comes bundled with a MyLab Access Code. Get a Used Book – This is fine, but you also will need to have your own MyLab Access Code, since the codes are linked to a specific student. Buy a stand-alone code – This is a less expensive option, and gets you into the course where you can use the online textbook (downside: can’t scroll, must click page to page.) You may purchase it at the Mendocino College bookstore, or online with a credit card during the MyLab registration process. [Note: If you plan to buy a textbook off-campus, check your course syllabus for the correct ISBNs to be sure you get the book and an access code.]
  • 78. What if you are unable to get a book right away? If you are unable to purchase a book or an access code right away, you can (and must, so that you do not get behind) utilize a temporary 14-day access code. You will find the option for this when you are going through the procedure of accessing the class. When asked for an access code, you will see an option for the temporary code. You must upgrade to a full access code within the 17 days, or you risk not being able to complete the class.
