WHAT IS TWITTER?<br />Twitter is like public instant messenger, with a timeline.<br />Twitter lets you write and read messages of up to 140 characters, or the very length of this sentence, including all punctuation and spaces.<br />The messages are called Tweets, and can be sent from the Twitter website, or your mobile phone.<br />By “following” another Twitter user, their messages appear in your Twitter view so you can see the conversations that are taking place in real-time.<br />
