  3. 3. <ul><li>The Highlands: It is a mountainous area. Ben Nevis is the highest peak (1344m). </li></ul><ul><li>The Lowlands: It is an industrial area. Edinburgh is the capital. </li></ul>Scotland has some 790 islands and 130 are inhabited. Scotland is divided into two distinct areas:

  5. 5. FOOD: HAGGIS <ul><li>Scottish typical food. </li></ul><ul><li>It is made of the heart and other organs of a sheep, cut up and boiled inside a skin made from the sheep’s stomach. </li></ul>
