  4. 4. <ul><li>Sustainability is a pro-active approach to ensure the long-term viability and integrity of the business by optimizing resource needs, reducing environmental, energy or social impacts, and managing resources while not compromising product or service quality, competitiveness or profitability.   </li></ul>What is Sustainability to the Business?

  6. 6. What is Accessibility? Accessibility is a general term used to describe the degree to which a product, device, service, or environment is accessible by as many people as possible. Accessibility is often used to focus on people with disabilities and their right of access to entities, often through use of assistive technology .
  7. 7. <ul><li>Some examples: </li></ul><ul><li>Accessible software for the blind and the deaf </li></ul><ul><li>Accessible facilities for disabled people by means of ramps or lifts </li></ul><ul><li>Accessible information for the blind and deaf </li></ul><ul><li>Specific disabled profiles may become loyal customers when a clever solution/product/service is provided by a company </li></ul>How can we make our business accessible?
  8. 8. What is Sexism? Sexism is the belief or attitude that one gender or sex is inferior to, less competent, or less valuable than the other.
  9. 9. What can we do to avoid Sexism? <ul><li>Some examples : </li></ul><ul><li>Avoid the use of sexist language. </li></ul><ul><li>Hire workers according to their skills but not according to gender. </li></ul><ul><li>Define salaries and wages according to job performance. </li></ul>

How can we use technological thinking in our business? <ul><li>Some ideas : </li></ul><ul><li>We must figure out how technology may improve our business or just make it better than similar ones. </li></ul><ul><li>We must think how to manage technology in our enterprise to optimize results. </li></ul><ul><li>We must design training plans for the workers who must be skilled to use tech tools efficiently. </li></ul>
