  2. 2. Palm Sunday Parade I love the picture of worship in the triumphant entry of Jesus into Jerusalem on Palm Sunday. This was not an Easter Parade, but a Palm Sunday parade which involved exuberant children shouting praise to Jesus, their King. How does your child worship? What opportunities make praise and worship meaningful for your family? Here are some thoughts from Matthew 21:God initiates worship. He reveals something about Himself and His people respond. Jesusshowed Himself as the prophesied King, coming to save His people. Children respond in worshipwhen they learn something new about what God has done or something takes on new meaning forthem.Worship is active. Worship is a verb. Everyone and especially children, worships better wheninvolved actively. On Palm Sunday, the children waved branches, ran along with the parade, andshouted praises, even in the temple.Jesus looks for and loves the worship of children. See Matthew 21: 16 “Yes, have you neverread, out of the mouths of infants and nursing babies you have prepared praise for yourself?”On this Palm Sunday, listen for and learn from your child’s worship of our triumphant King Jesus. ing Parent p o rtu nit y OR L C Happy ment O p ry E mp lo y Nu rs e 5 am 5 – 11:1 S un d ays 9:4 matio n c all e info r F o r mo r -2424 425-821 join Come Holy Week Our Re de e me r Walking with Christ to the Cross L u the ra n C hurc h Sunday, April 1st, Palm Sunday f o r L e n t e n S e r v ic e s , 10:00 am Worship W e d n e s d a ys ! “Come and Join the Parade” for more information call 425-821-2424 Maundy Thursday, April 9th at 7:00 pm Jerusalem at Passover “Come and Eat the Passover Meal” A Lenten Tour Good Friday, April 10th at 7:00 pm Soup & bread 6:00 pm & “Come and Experience Darkness” Worship Service at 7:00 pm.
