The Advanced Research Projects Agency (ARPA) was established to research and development.  Video games- A.S.Douglas created first graphical computer game in 1952. William Higginbotham is credited with creating first video game in 1958.
  9. 9. Movies 1945-1960  Movies- This period was one of the most iconic times in Hollywood.  Most notable actors/actresses-Marilyn Monroe, Bette Davis and Judy Garland. Cary Grant, Humphrey Bogart and Clark Gable  Most notable Movies-Ten Commandments, Some like it Hot and Rebel without a cause.
