Sugarbush is a ski resort in Warren, Vermont ( http://www.sugarbush.com/about-vermont-resort/audio-video-podcasts-rss ). They are providing Audio and Video RSS Feed content on their website.
This is the main page of Audio RSS Feed in XML format. In this page, the resort provides the links for each audio or video, viewers can view a single clip or subscribe for RSS feed. I’ll use the interface of iTune to introduce this service.
The audio RSS Feeds provide the weather and snow condition around the resort everyday throughout the snow season.
Staff recorded visitors’ activities and post it online. The RSS Feeds were updated almost everyday in the snow season.
By providing useful and interesting contents to Viewers, it will create a closer relationship between the resort and its visitors. In addition, this may make visitors visit the resort more frequently, because these contents can work as advertisement, and has at least the two following functions: 1. remind visitors’ past experience 2. enhance the brand equity of the resort.
