Measuring Pepper1

 1. 1. Measuring Pepper
By Alice Carroll
2. 2. My dog Pepper weighs 13 lb
She weighs 5.8 kilograms
She also weighs 17 times as much as her toy bowling pin
Weight
3. 3. Height
Pepper is 14 inches tall, and 30 inches from nose to tail
She also is 1 4/5 boots tall, and 3 ½ boots long
4. 4. Racing to the Finish Line
I made Pepper run 60 feet and saw how fast she was and here are my results
5. 5. A Beating Heart
Pepper’s heart beats 144 times per minute!
This happens because small dogs’ heart beat gets faster because the blood has less ways to go
*FUN FACT* Did you know that smaller dogs live longer!?!
6. 6. Eager Beaver
Pepper can only wait 10 seconds for her toy!
She waits 56 seconds in stay position
My dog’s record of chewing up something is destroying her toy doughnut in 1 week!
7. 7. Colorful Pepper
Today I tried to get Pepper’s color wavelength
It did not work out so well so you can guess
I think it would be WAY to the left for her leg, and WAY to the right for her nose
8. 8. Tall Tails
I measured Pepper’s tail in bottle caps and her tail is 9 bottle caps long with fur, and 7 bottle caps without her fur
9. 9. Bull Dog
Pepper weighs 13 pounds and my sister, Marie weighs 83 pounds and pepper can pull her!
She can pull over 6 times her weight!
And that’s just when Marie is standing on her toy!
10. 10. The end
