Culturecode

 1. 1. Culture Code Method

Objective:

To find out a code(single word) to situations which appeal to the subconscious. Using this code will help in gaining a desired response from society.

What You Need:

Focus group

Comfortable room with chairs

Pillows

Pen and paper

Scissors

Glue

Magazines

Soothing music

For this method, all three parts of the brain will be accessed in order to get to the root of the unconscious.

Step 1 Cortex Step 2 Limbic Step 3 Reptilian
 2. 2.

Each session is about 1 hour with a short break in between.

Session 1:

Have the group respond to certain words with its logical meaning. This step is to get the group to use their cortex of the brain. This step conditions the group and does not have to be recorded. It is just a step for the focus group to show-off their intelligence.

Session 2:

In this session, the focus group is asked to explain certain words as if it were to a five year old from another planet. This session gets down to the basics of a concept in its simplest form. There is no logic or intelligence in this step, just entertainment. This step is designed to disconnect the cortex.

Session 3:

The room is dark with soothing music playing. The group is asked to lie on the ground and relax. The group is told to be out in the mindset that they just woke up. This is to gain access to the subconscious because when we first wake up, our cortex is not fully functional yet. Then they are asked to think about their earliest childhood memory of what a concept was or meant to them. This session gains access to the subconscious and is the most important part of this method. The key to this part is to keep responses anonymous. Participants are not afraid to share their exact thoughts because they know it is anonymous. These responses are inprints and there is no need for interpretation.

Result:

Analyze responses to “discover” the code as a group. This culture code is not created but found, since it already existed in our minds. Try to find a recurring theme and crack the code that will gain access to society’s subconscious. You may use that code word to develop ways to appeal to society and gain favorable responses.
