Roll for Winnie is an entertaining and uplifting tale of how being different still means you are loveable. This beautiful children's picture book is written for 3-5 year olds, however is enjoyable to read at any age. As with all of the books in the Team Golden Oldies series, profits are all donated to rescue organisations for food, bedding, medication, adoption, treatment and rehabilitation of senior dogs. Since the first book's release in March 2015 royalties of over $2,000 have been donated. "This book demonstrates the simple beauty of teaching children that they are loved, unique and different. About the Author Lisa Domeny is the author of the award winning children's book Winnie and the Red Winniebago. She lives in Australia and founded Team Golden Oldies, a group dedicated to adopting senior dogs and giving them a safe and loving forever home to see out their days. Lisa started her love affair with senior dogs while fostering 13 year old Maggie. Although she only had Maggie for 9 months, the joy of watching her enjoying life was immeasurable. It is Lisa's hope that the Team Golden Oldies will encourage people to adopt senior dogs.
