It may seem natural to assume, therefore, that the majority of adults want the best for their children. Nevertheless, all of us who want something for our children takes-on the decline required and the time to know if that is what really wants the child? Most of the time, adults believe that they know better, and therefore, exclude children of the decision-making processes. The sport among young people, unfortunately, is a primary example of this phenomenon. In 1987 the Athletic Footwear Association of America has sponsored a study of 10,000 students aged 10-18 who were expressing their feelings about the sport. The students have responded to questions such as: Why have they done this or that sport? Why have they stopped? And what types of changes think ought they too they are still involved in a sport that they have abandoned?

Try to work with the parents and to make full-fledged members of the team rather than watching as criticisms to avoid.
