  • What is a noun? A noun can be a person. A cowboy is a person. Cowboy is a noun. . A teacher is a person. Teacher is a noun. A fireman is a person. Fireman is a noun. So is chef, skater, friend. Each one is a person, so each one is a noun.
  • What is a noun? A noun can be a place. A school is a place. School is a noun. The beach is a place. Beach is a noun. The sky is a place. Sky is a place. So is store, city, zoo. Each one is a place, so each one is a noun.
  • What is a noun? A noun can be a thing. A book is a thing. Book is a noun. A hamburger is a thing. Hamburger is a noun. So is bicycle, pig, and house. Each one is a thing, so each one is a noun.
