Visit to swansea central library

  1. 1. On Friday we visited the Swansea Central Library in the Swansea Civic Centre. It was a fun day as we had a chance to go out and we weren’t on the computers all day. During the day we had a few tasks to do, these were: •Task 1 – Ask a member of staff for the SSID number and the Wi-Fi password •Task 2 – Find a book to do with my AON project. •Task 3 – Take photo’s I was able to find out the SSID number and the Wi-Fi password with ease but finding a book to do with my AON project as it is about comparing games consoles was difficult. There weren’t many books to do with gaming. I also didn’t manage to take any photo’s. I went with my class from Swansea ITeC and we went in the staff members cars from ITeC. As there was only 1 car, my tutor had to make two trips as there weren’t enough seats in the car for all of us to fit in at once. There were a lot of facilities there: - •63 PC’s with free access. •Wheelchair accessible •Hearing loop •Toilets •Photocopiers •Scanners •Digital text enlarging
