  1. 1. CollaborationTools The trend is clear, more and more companies are embracing teamwork among remote colleagues. Firstly, the potential tools have to be embraced by the entire team and be interoperable across devices and platforms. Collaborative tools can't be used by just a few people some of the time, otherwise people will revert to email because it's the good old standby they know people will use. There is a good number of these tools, and after a couple of meetings, these are our 5 picks: : Trello is a free collaborative task and project manager; Obayoo combines micro blogging and file sharing into one quick, easy-to-use enterprise collaboration tool ; Cyn.in includes all the bells and whistles such as file sharing, calendars, wikis, and micro blogging, but it is also open-source.
