  3. 3. 3Dutch waterboards abroad2007 Manifestation “Het Akkoord van Schokland” WASH-Akkoord.By signing this agreement, the waterboards, together withother key players in the Dutch water sector, linked tocommit themselves to the achievement of MillenniumDevelopment Goal 7c.This objective involves halving the number of peoplewithout access to safe drinking water and / or propersanitation.The WASH agreement has a strong impetus to theinternational commitment of the water boards.
