  1. 1. ADTECH Enables App Publishers to Accommodate Ad Delivery with Multi-Platform Mobile Advertising SDK Technology & Media | ADTECH ADTECH is a digital marketing company, providing publishers, agencies and ad networks with products to manage, serve and evaluate online advertising campaigns, including display, video and mobile formats. Founded in 1998 and headquartered in Frankfurt, Germany, ADTECH is the ad serving platform of AOL's digital advertising business. With the mobile advertising market continuously evolving, ADTECH wanted to expand their mobile offering with a new in-app advertising delivery solution that would meet the current and future needs of publishers. The Business Context We were impressed with iQuest's professionalism. Their development methodology and expertise on the iOS and Android platforms perfectly matched our high expectations. 2. 2. its kind to be fully compliant with the IAB’s MRAID 2.0 and VAST 2.0 rich media and video ad standards, ensuring high interoperability, uniform ad delivery and support for industry standard ads. The new product was successfully integrated into ADTECH’s ad serving platform (ADTECH IQ), already enabling publishers and ad networks across the world to get the most out of their in- app advertising. iQuest was engaged by ADTECH to design, develop and test a mobile advertising SDK (Software Development Kit) for iOS, Android and Windows Phone platforms that could be easily integrated into third party mobile applications, enabling publishers and advertisers to accommodate ad delivery into their apps. The main focus was to create a solution compliant with the IAB’s MRAID (Rich Media Standard) and VAST (Video Ad Serving Template) standards. The SDK had to be robust, light, easy to integrate and simple to use, while being able to handle ad mediation for full flexibility. Together with ADTECH we developed and laid the foundation for a single unified architecture that we used to develop the mobile SDK’s in a consistent matter across all platforms. We built the new kit from the ground up and designed it to provide all the necessary tools to integrate adverts into apps, in addition to established ad serving features. The SDK was fully integrated with ADTECH’s rich media tool, allowing it to display rich media ads that can access device native features including screen size, gestures, camera, GPS, compass, calendar, SMS and phone. The Solution Technology & Media | ADTECH Mobility Services Case Study The result of our partnership with ADTECH is a mobile SDK with a setup and integration time of under 10 minutes, capable of displaying rich media and video ads that can exploit and make use of devices capabilities, thus creating user- tailored ads with a more interactive feel to them. The SDK contains the header files, a sample application, the program library – the actual SDK as one single file, as well as the SDK documentation and its key features including preloading and ad caching, online and offline ad viewing, ad mediation between different vendors, full screen overlays, targeting of app name and SDK version and cross app unique user detection. Showcased at the 2012 Mobile World Congress, the new mobile SDK was at that time the first of The Business Impact The mobile SDK completes ADTECH’s end-to-end solution for campaign management of mobile devices, allowing them to exploit emerging market opportunities. Key Benefits: Improved usability Fast ad delivery for iOS, Android and Windows Phone SDK’s with easy integration into third party mobile apps. Improved flexibility Easy to integrate, robust, light and simple to use ad mediation inside the handling process Improved personalisation Cross-platform, interactive and user- tailored ads delivered better through device capabilities
