  2. 2. Practicing Generosity 行布施
  3. 3. 有一人向釋佛訴苦:「我不管做什麼事都會失敗,這是為什麼?」  A man lamented to Lord Buddha : ‘ No matter what I do, I failed, why is it so ?’
  4. 4. 佛說:「因你從不佈施!」 那人答說:「可我是一無所有的窮人!」 Buddha said: ‘Because you don’t give for charity!’ The man replied: ‘I am penniless.’
  5. 5. 釋佛開示:「不對!即使你沒有財富,也可以給人   7  種佈施!」   Lord Buddha : ‘ That’s wrong, though you are not wealthy, you can practice 7 types generosity.’
  6. 6. 7 types of generosity 7 种布施
  7. 7. 1.  和顏施: 對於別人給予和顏悅色的佈施 . <ul><li>Generosity of look : </li></ul><ul><li>Show a pleasant look to others. </li></ul>
  8. 8. 2.  言施: 向人說好話的佈施,存好心做好事做好人說好話,並勉人切實力行 . 2. Generosity of speech : Talk with kind words, aspire to do good, be kind and encourage others to be earnest and to strive hard.
  9. 9. 3.  心施: 為對方設想的心,體貼眾生心的佈 施 . 3. Generosity of heart : Care and show consideration for others.
  10. 10. 4.  眼施: 用慈愛和氣的眼神看人 . Generosity of eye : Look at people with a kind expression.
  11. 11. 5.  身施: 身體力行幫助別人 . 5. Generosity of body: Lend a hand to help.
  12. 12. 6.  座施: 讓座給需要的人的佈施 . 6. Generosity of seat : Offer your seat to a person who needs it.
  13. 13. 7.  察施: 不用問對方就能察覺對方的心 , 並給予相對其所需的方便的佈施 . 7. Genero sity of senses: Able to sense the feeling of a person without asking and offer assistance needed.
  14. 14. 如果你能身體力行此   7  項佈施,生命也會跟著有所改變! If you practice earnestly these 7 types of generosity, life would change.
  15. 15. 人生有苦難,有重擔,人性有邪惡,有欺凌 , In life, there are hardship and burden; There are good and evil characters; There is humiliation.
  16. 16. 但是到後來這些都對我有益處,苦難竟是化了妝的祝福 . Nevertheless, all these benefit me in the end, for hardships are blessings in disguise.
  17. 17. 人生在一連串不完美中,最後總是完美 . In life, after all the shortcomings, it is always beautiful at last.
  18. 18. 佈施不是有錢人的專利   , 而是有心人的參與 Doing charity is not for the rich only, it is for anyone who has the heart to do it.
