Tata International Limited (TIL) is India's leading exporter of leather and leather products. It has manufacturing units in Dewas, MP and Chennai, TN, as well as development centers in China and Portugal. TIL exports major products like footwear, garments, and leather to over 35 countries, mainly in Southeast Asia, Europe, and the US. 2. About TATA INTERNATIONAL
LIMITED
 TIL is India's leading exporter, manufacturer
and supply chain integrator of leather and
leather products with exports to over 35
countries.
 Major Products are footwear, finished leather
and garments.
 Dewas plant has been established in 1975 and
it starts its operations from 1977.
 TATA’s tannery in Dewas is now the largest
tannery in India and a hub for world-class
footwear and fashion leather production.

 Two manufacturing unit Dewas (MP) &
Chennai (TN).
 Development centres in China and Portugal
and Design studio in Italy.
 largest exporter of children’s shoes from India
and have a major stake in Move-On Shoes, a
leading Portuguese footwear retailer.
 98% of TIL Dewas is Export Oriented Unit and
only 2% in Domestic Supply.

4. Dispatch Section:…..
 Normally 15-20 dispatch has been done to the
various countries.
 At the Month end, Dispatch has been done All
Day and Night.
 Exports Mainly in Far East( Combodia ,
Hongkong , China, Indonesia), Europe and in
US.

 Started internship from 27th June Through Mr.
Abhay Shrauf.
 Our Department Of work is Marketing and
Documentation.
 Mr. Sunil Acharya (Mrkt. Head) & Tinu
Abraham sir guided us.
 Deals with Several Export Documentations.

9. Result and Findings
 Documents have very Crucial Role in export-
import business.
 Exporter firm has to deal with several
organization like: Bank, customs , shipping
company, various Govt. & non- Govt. Agencies
, Licensing Authorities etc.
 All Documents are interrelated & It is not
possible to move towards the next step without
completing previous documents.

 Good experience in TIL
 Done work for company like Invoice,Shipping
Bills ,L/C, Advance Documentation etc.
 Learned how to work in an organization.
 I hope my presentation has covered all the
things which I Have experienced during my
internship.
