Our Business Model Two revenue streams: Sales and Operations We have a 30% / 30% / 40% split on GROSS MARGIN Sales – Exel Transportation pays 30% (of Gross Margin) sales commission for managing the customer relationship Operations – Exel Transportation pays 30% for the operating the freight Exel Transportation retains 40% of the gross margin for services and support Majority of customer facing interaction is handled by Operating Agents and Sales Agents on a decentralized basis. With exception of invoicing, support and administrative functions are managed centrally by Exel Transportation corporate employees Gross profit is split 30 – 30 - 40 between Sales, Operations, and Corporate 05/08/09 Page 6 of 14
