Notice is hereby given that any person at any time before the grant of Patent may give representation by way of opposition to the Controller of Patents at appropriate office on the ground and in a manner specified under section 25(1) of the Patents (Amendment) Act, 2005 read with Rule 55 of the Patents (Amendment) Rules, 2006. The Journal is uploaded in the website every Friday. So Paper form and CD-ROM form of the Journal are discontinued from 01/01/2009. Our results shows that of all the sequentially extracted fraction of F. virens bark and leaves extract, F. virens bark methanol extract exhibits strong radical scavenging and antioxidant activity. In addition, F. virens bark methanol extract, which is non- cytotoxic, significantly and most potently inhibit the HMGR activity (IC50=3.45+-0.45 ug/ml) in comparison to other extracts. Further, the most potent bioactive fraction F18 was isolated from Ficus virens bark methanolic extract as a reddish brown crystal and subjected to IR, 1H NMR, 13C NMR and mass spectroscopy analysis to identify this compound. Our data showed it as a novel compound, n- Octadecanyl-0- α-D-glucopyranosyl (6+1) -0- α-D-glucopyranoside with a molecular weight of 594, that exhibits significant HMGR inhibitory activity in vitro (98.5%) at 5pg/ml and demonstrated uncompetitive mode of inhibition against HMGCoA reductase. Moreover, the in vivo hypolipidemic activity of FVBM extract and compound isolated therefrom were also evaluated against Tyloxapol induced hyperlipidemia in rats. The inventor for the first time reported a significant reduction in TC, TG and LDL-C with a increase in HDL-C level in FVBM extract (500 mglkg & 1000 mgkg) and pure bioactive compound (10mgkg) treated rats when compared to Tyloxapol induced hyperlipidemic control rats. Most of the ceiling fans accross the world are external rotor motors which is a very convenient and cost effective topology for this application. When they are adopted into the new BLDC technology they continue to be external rotor motors. Under such a situation the rotor will have to carry the permanent magnet on its surface. The state of the art in achieving this objective are 1) glueing a costly multipole rare earth ring magnet on to the rotor core, in which case motor will be costly. (Casting large ring magnets to the diameter of ceiling fan requirement, using cermaic magnets is not possible). 2) gluing a number of low cost sintered ceramic segment magnets on to the rotor core to form a multipole rotor, which is process intensive and requires long time for curing after gluing 3) use plastic fixture as a positive support for inserting or sliding magnets into the rotor core, in which case the magnet has to be of a specific shape, which might have to be a compromise on the resulting performance of the fan 4) In Versa Drives Pvt Ltd, both rotor core, in the form of segmented strips, and magnets are glued to the rotor body or bottom cover. This method has been reported in our earlier patent application no 3505/CHE/2012. This method, though less in material usage is highly process intensive and costly, thus reducing the productivity considerably. The performance of the fan is dependent on the accuracy and quality of gluing. The air gap consistency depends on this. More over it requires a special purpose machine to glue the segments and magnets. An improved method of rotor production, which will reduce process time, process cost, considerably, with out compromising on the total cost and performance of the end application is welcome. The first order lever is pivotably mounted onto the table through its fulcrum in a frictionless manner in such a way that when the table is being reciprocated, the lever effort arm along with its weighted body is oscillated on the fulcrum at a desired oscillating angle, which simultaneously generates a multiplied force, at the end of the lever load arm, that is directed to operate the power receiver assemblies for energy generation.
