  11. 11. • Consistent with previous years findings – demand for formal qualifications continues to rise • At the OHS/HSE Manager level two thirds now hold an undergraduate degree in safety or better – a significant increase over last year • The mining downturn has seen a rush of people updating their qualifications in WA qualifications
  12. 12. • Over 40% of senior respondents have seen their portfolio expand (e.g. taking on Risk, Quality, Process Improvement) • Portfolio titles of Operational Excellence or Risk are becoming more common as companies strive to demonstrate value from the function • Does not mean downsizing teams in general – more about labour optimisation and pushing accountability back to the line • Pay premium passes from project workers to the corporate function - 17% TAR increase for National Managers based in corporate roles function restructuring
