  3. 3. Games for safety-critical training? Well … Some games are pure fun, not serious.

  5. 5. Is it a game? Is it serious or fun?

  18. 18. Whether games are created to be fun or not … • Millenials will be in the workforce in 4 years time • They expect to be ‘entertained’ • Keep up!
  19. 19. Games must be useful • Training value • Learning outcomes • Competency elements • Familiarisation • ‘Training by stealth’
  20. 20. Aviation Australia – AARCOE • Demographics drive the design • Virtual world / Simulation (?) • Serious gaming assessments (?)
