  3. 3. I thought the library was just about borrowing books…these tutorials showed me it had so much more to offer. Just to say when I started here as an undergraduate, the library training was the singular most important thing I did. It helped me hugely. As a mature student who hasn’t studied for quite some time, I found all the sessions very helpful…all in all, LIST sessions are a fantastic introduction for any student to college life. Really helpful and comprehensive without being overwhelming – thank you!
  4. 4. LIST Libguide featuring the sessions we have on offer
  5. 5. Development Reviewed all LIST Sessions for September 2015. Reduced number of library face to face sessions. WHY? Some sessions had low attendance and were more suited to online tutorials. Experimented with the following tools for creating online support. Decided one product that could include animated pictures, videos and quizzes would be best. It also would keep the style of the tutorials consistent. What Product?
  6. 6. The Future • Project started November 2015 and continuing with one full time Library Assistant and one part time Assistant Librarian • Full suite of LIST online using Articulate Storyline 2 currently being developed to be ready for September 2016 • Tutorials will be hosted via Moodle and/or Libguides • Videos of services provided in the library to be included • Support material from external trainers will also feature
