As thecapital of Vietnam for almost a thousand years, the enchanting Hanoi is considered to be one ofcultural centers of Vietnam, where most of Vietnamese dynasties had left behind their imprint. Eventhough some relics have not survived through wars and time, the city still has many interestingcultural and historic monuments for visitors and residents alike.Your trip starts today with the warm welcome at the airport from your arrival in Hanoi. You are freefor personal activities and refreshment after long flight.Overnight at hotel, Hanoi.Day 2: Hanoi City tour (B/L)8:00 depart. Visiting Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, Presidential Palace (out side), the House-on-stilt, theOne-pillar Pagoda. We will then visit the Temple of Literature, the oldest University in Vietnam. Wewill have lunch then.
  2. 2. In the afternoon, we continue visiting Ethnology Museum. The museum is both a research centre anda public museum exhibiting the ethnic groups of Vietnam. Here carry out scientific research, collection,documentation, conservation, exhibition and preserving the cultural and historic patrimony of thenation’s 54 ethnic groups. Then visit Hoan Kiem Lake, Ngoc Son Temple- the must in Hanoi. The tourends with water puppet show.Overnight at the hotel in Hanoi.Day 3: Hanoi – Halong Bay (B/L/D)Halong Bay has twice been recognized by UNESCO as a World Natural Heritage Area for its exceptionalscenic beauty and outstanding geological and geomorphic values. Thousands of islands emerginguneven in the fanciful waves look strong and magnificent but also mild and vivid. Amidst theseislands, we feel as if we were astray in a petrified legendary world.8:00: You are picked up at the hotel. You can leave your luggage behind at the hotel in Hanoi andpack an overnight bag.12.15 pm: Arrive in Halong city, board our traditional wooden junk boat for an overnight journey. Sipon a refreshing welcome drink upon check in before you begin the cruise through the bay. Feast on adelicious lunch as you cruise among hundreds of islets (Dinh Huong islet, Ga Choi – Fighting Cockislet, Dog islet, Finger islet, etc.) to discover untouched pockets of Halong Bay and visit Sung Sotcave, which is situated in the centre of the UNESCO-declared World Heritage area and is one of themost imposing grottos of the Bay. You will then have chance to explore Halong bay on your own bykayaking from the Soi Sim beach to Luon Cave to enjoy the quite atmosphere of the bay. Here remains manyhistorical buildings. My Son is a World Heritage, 50 kmsouthwest of Hoi An. Located in a lush valley, My Son was a capital and religious center of Champeople, now remaining with red brick towers and sanctuaries. My Son, considered to be in the sameleague as some of Southeast Asias greatest archaeological sites, including Angkor in Cambodia,Bagan in Myanmar, Ayutthaya in Thailand and Borobudur in Indonesia. These towers and sanctuarieswas built from the 7 to 13 centuries.Overnight at hotel, Hoi An.Day 8: Hoian - Ho Chi Minh City (Flight ) (B)Today, you will take the flight from Danang to Ho Chi Minh city, also called Saigon. This is the largestcity in Vietnam and is the nations economic capital. The metropolitan area Hồ Chí Minh City andsurrounding towns is populated by more than 9 million.You are free for personal activities. We suggest to take a short city tour to visit the must to see placesin the city including the Reunification Palace, War Remnants Museum and Notre Dame Cathedral. Youwill also admire the many beautiful French colonial buildings such as the main post office and theformer Hotel de Ville (city hall). If time permits, we will also visit the bustling Cho Lon Market(Chinatown). This trip helps you view the city from another perspective and to see the abundance offresh local produce that is such an important feature of Vietnamese cuisine.Overnight at the hotel, Ho Chi Minh City.Day 9: Ho Chi Minh - Cai Be - Vinh Long (B)You are picked at the hotel to drive to Cai Be floating market. The market is one of the many well-known floating markets in the western region of southern Vietnam was formed in the Nguyen Dynastyin the 19th century. The Cai Be Floating Market is always busy, bearing all the characteristics of thelocals’ life in the western region. The shops and stalls at these markets are boats of different sizes.The main items sold there are farm products and specialties of the town and neighboring areas. Everyboat has a long upright pole at its bow on which samples of the goods for sale are hung. We enjoyboat trip excursion on Mekong River through canals, passing rice fields, islands with fruit orchards,brick mills, a conical palm hat workshop & houses on stilts before arrival in Vinh Long. If time permits, we suggest you to head outof town to visit the Cu Chi Tunnels, which is an extensive underground network of approximately 200kilometers of tunnels dug initially by the Viet Minh and then expanded by the Viet Cong. Here containshospitals, plus accommodation and schools, and were used extensively for refuge and storage andalso utilized as a military base for the Viet Cong close to Saigon.You will be transferred from the hotel to the airport for your flight out of Vietnam for your nextdestination.
