The towns covered in MTRS constitute the entire universe of Indian towns with both more than 1 lakh individual population towns (namely, Metros, Mini metros, Tier 1, Tier 2, Tier 3 and Tier 4 towns) as well as the smaller towns with less than 1 lakh individual population.
MTRS users are able to identify the affluent urban markets, or choose and prioritize among India’s top 537 towns based on their geographical proximity, location, consumer demography, household sizes by income segments, spending patterns, presence of urban infrastructure, economic conditions, etc. The dynamic analytical maps provide a visual hook to enable the final selection of towns.
The rural coverage in MTRS includes all the 5,800 rural blocks that house over 600,000 villages in India.
