  12. 12. KDFS : Credit Governance • KDFS is specially designed application for UPNRM activities. • Through the application a group should apply loan from KDFS along with supporting documents. DHAN Vayalagam (Tank) Foundation

Before disbursal Steps: • KDFS will provide application to locations. • Location staff can fill up the application with concerned group at meeting. • Filled application shall be get approved by the Block integrator and forward it to Regional Coordinator for further approval.   14. 14. Before disbursal • From the region the application shall be forwarded to KDFS. • At KDFS again application scrutiny and sanctioning for disbursal. • After sanctioning of application the loan will be issued through Demand Draft in favour of the group. DHAN Vayalagam (Tank) Foundation
  15. 15. After disbursal • After disbursal the group should organize meeting (if needed special meeting) and disburse the loan to the demanded members. DHAN Vayalagam (Tank) Foundation
  16. 16. Repayment • The group should repay the EMI through demand draft infavour of KDFS payable at Madurai. • Cash repayment should not be accepted/ encouraged. DHAN Vayalagam (Tank) Foundation
  17. 17. Monitoring • Before approval by Block Integrator, he should visit the group and appraise members. KDFS will ensure through interaction. • After disbursal the location should maintain repayment register (group wise) especially for the UPNRM activity. KDFS is asked to submit copy of the register every month. • Regional Coordinator also should visit some groups at random basis before approval. KDFS will receive undertaking letter from the Regional Coordinator. DHAN Vayalagam (Tank) Foundation

Monitoring • At KDFS level every month we have to take repayment performance report and send it to respective location. • Once in a quarter KDFS staff should visit every location and will see some groups and members for end use verification at random sampling method.
