Do you Know this? <ul><li>Only 65.4% of Indian population knows how to read and write. </li></ul><ul><li>350 millions (35%) of people can’t read and write. </li></ul><ul><li>In 1000 children 82 of them are sent to hazardous labor jobs due to poverty. </li></ul><ul><li>5 Lakh formal schools for population of 2390 Lakh. </li></ul><ul><li>14% of schools don’t have proper building. </li></ul><ul><li>38% of schools don’t have black board. </li></ul><ul><li>30% of schools have only one teacher. </li></ul><ul><li>58% of schools don’t have drinking water. </li></ul><ul><li>70% of children drop out before class four(4 th ). </li></ul>

They contribute their leisure time, experience,ideas,money etc.. </li></ul><ul><li>Members and Volunteers visit Schools, Villages and Homes in weekends to identify the requirement with appropriate background verification. </li></ul><ul><li>Decisions are made through e-mail discussions. </li></ul><ul><li>Every project is carefully executed & monitored with no administrative overheads. </li></ul><ul><li>They are more transparent. Details such as beneficiary, purpose, donations, expenses etc along with photos are available in their websites. </li></ul><ul><li>( ) </li></ul><ul><li>  </li></ul>
