  1. 1. Quoted Speech <br />What is quoted speech?? <br />Do you know about direct and indirect speech? <br />
  2. 2. What is quoted speech? <br />Quoted speech refers to reproducing words <br />exactly as they were originally spoken. <br />Quotation marks (“…”) are used. <br />Quoted speech is also called direct speech.<br />Reported speech is also called indirect speech. <br />
