internationally by GIA (Global Initiative for Asthma). World Day Asthma firstly celebrated on 1998 by GIA
with overall 35 countries at Barcelona, Spain.
According to World Health Organization nearly, between 100-150 million people worldwide are ill with
asthma of which 15-20 million belong to India.
