Main points of MediaNext: objectives and assignments : <ul><li>Overall objective : to improve knowledge , understanding and use of new media in Ukraine. </li></ul><ul><li>Special objectives : а) to promote structural changes in Ukraine in the information era based on “new media thinking”; </li></ul><ul><li>b ) to make the society able to set media agenda through use of new media ; </li></ul><ul><li>c ) to improve competences of journalists and thus to increase the level of professionalism of Ukrainian journalism . </li></ul>
