Past & current Scaling-Up projects Seed potatoes in East Africa – Client: TransFarm Africa and Syngenta Foundation for Sustainable Agriculture – Target beneficiaries: 150,000 potato farmers in Tanzania – Legal assistance: Registration and licensing for improved seed varieties Shea butter in West Africa – Client: Alliance of African Shea Associations – Target beneficiaries: 4 million shea nut collectors in West Africa – Legal assistance: Access to US market for shea butter in chocolate Shrimp in Bangladesh – Client: Bangladesh Shrimp and Fish Foundation – Target beneficiaries: 600,000 fisherfolk in Bangladesh – Legal assistance: Regulatory compliance/challenge for export to EU3
