2.  We want you to know two of the most
important paths in Almería. Almería is a
Spanish city belonging to the autonomous
community of Andalucía, located in the
south-east of the Iberian Peninsula.

3.  Private protected areas usually have a wide
variety of paths.
 Now, we are going to explain two very different
paths. One of these is in the mountains and the
other one is placed at the beach.

4. In our country, paths are classified into three
types:
 Long-distance paths which are identified by the red
and white colours and by the initials GR. You may take
more than one day to complete them and the
minimum distance is about 50 kms.
 Short-distance paths identified by the yellow and white
colours and by the initials PR. You do not need more
than one day to go over them and the distance is less
than 50 kms.
 Local paths identified by white and green colours and
the initials SL. They count on a distance of less than
10 kms.
