Sensors and home appliances are connected to the designed and implemented control panel and then they are monitored and controlled from every corner of the world through the GSM mobile phone. The system is scalable and allows additional appliances to be added to it with no major changes to its core. To verify the principle operation of the design, some home applications are experimentally tested. Experimental results show the efficiency and accuracy of proposed intelligent control system in terms of energy saving and being user friendly. In this project four sensors are used to detect the environment, according to detection of sensors related loads will switch on/off. The same information is transmitted to authorized person’s mobile as sms through GSM. This project uses regulated 5v, 750ma power supply. 7805 three terminal voltage regulator is used for voltage regulation. Bridge type full wave rectifier is used to rectify the ac output of secondary of 230/18v step down transformer.
