The Program is implemented in four Staple Crops Processing Zones (SCPZs) of Adani-Omor, Bida-Badeggi, Kano-Jigawa and Kebbi- Sokoto. S/N Variety Pictorial Description Seed Appreciation Out standing Characteristics Ecological Adaptation 1 SAMSORG 17 (SK5912) - Late (165-175 days to maturity) - Semi-dwarf - Head is semi-compact and elliptical shaped - Potential yield 2.5- 3.5 tha-1 , - Seed colour yellow.
