  3. Circa. USD$ 2.73 Million Genotyping Volume Circa. 11.24 Million Data points AUG 2016 - OCT 2020 With US$ 4 Million investment, HTPG saved significant resources for CGIAR & NARS and enabled generation of genotyping data at 1/3rd- 1/4th price. By assuming a minimum cost of US$1 per data point, CG and NARS might have spent about US$ 11.24 Million on the data generation. Circa. $0.24 per data point The project has saved about US$ 7.24 Million, with total investment of about US$ 4.0 Million by 2020 Achievements and impact Total Business Volume: Surpassed $2,737,224 (Circa. $1 Mio from the project) HTPG Data Points Total Data Points: Surpassed 11,244,352

  5. HTPG Beyond 2020 - Way forward • Highly appreciated by the TCC members especially received positive note from the Donor (Gary Atlin • Mentioned as a model project for shared genotyping service engaging multi institutes & national partners • Suggested to write a story/genesis, achievements and guiding principles for genotyping • Recommended to continue supporting the coordination role for the South Asia region • Approved to utilize 75,000$ project fund with mid- density services for ICRSIAT crops • The project is now transitioned into Module 3 of EiB • HTPG now rebranded as low density genotyping services • HTPG will continue to offer the current services to CG and NARS across SSA & SA • Lessons learned from HTPG will pave the the roadmap for other shared services in EiB TCC meeting: November 16, 2020
  6. Feel very satisfied when… Marianne Bänziger Key Architect (PI) EiB Platform at the launch of EiB platform …HTPG project in true sense is a precursor for Excellence in Breeding platform… ..HTPG as a successful project delivered more than expected than the defined objectives… Gary Atlin Senior Program Officer, BMGF at the closure of HTPG project
