Conclusions
Soils from farmers’ fields in Karnataka are not only thirsty but hungry also for secondary and micro nutrients.
The adoption of balanced nutrition and other good agricultural practices are needed to harness productivity potential in rainfed SAT systems.
Bhoochetana recorded 5% growth in agriculture and net benefits of Rs 1268 crores in 4 years, proving it a scalable option for sustainable intensification in SAT.
