Style Scale Tips - 1

 1. 1. Indian Style Scale Part- II
2. 2. “While clothes may not make the woman, they certainly have a strong effect on her self-confidence - which, I believe, does make the woman”
Mary Kay Ash
3. 3. Life is hard for a working woman
To balance an extremely demanding corporate job
And a family life with various roles to play- mother, wife, partner, hostess, daughter-in –law etc…
4. 4. How to manage different roles and leave the right impression too!!!
Professionally the sari and in silk and cotton is a splendid option
But sometimes inconvenient
Majority find the salwarkameezmost convenient, safe and multifaceted.
But doesn’t look professional and sharp
So what should a woman wear that will be acceptable yet professional and sensible too!!!
5. 5. Image Consulting Business Institute has managed an option that will bridge the gap between your sense of comfort / ethics and looking sharp /professional
We have used our alliance with Judith Rasband, Image Master, Conselle Institute Director, to create the Indian Style Scale from Business formals to cool Casuals
We have created ‘The Indian Style Scale’- using the Sari and our very own SalwarKameez as the base
6. 6. Levels of dressing
We have created a Style Scale that goes from absolute formals at level 4 to absolute comfort at level 1
with many points in between to suit your authoritative imagery and convey the messages that you want to with your dressing
7. 7. Tailored at Level 4
Our own Sari but worn with a Matched Jacket
Most formal of all Levels
The straight lines, angular shapes, duller colours and geometric patterns
Collared and is long sleeved
Message sent out will be authoritative, credible, persuasive, precise and holding a certain level of office
8. 8. Tailored at Level 4
A Tunic over Cigarette Pants, is structured form, firmer fabric, straight lines, angular shaped and in on case even has a dark /light contrast
Sends out a very sharp message despite it’s resemblance to our very own salwarkameez
A sure style statement giving you an undoubted edge
9. 9. Softly Tailored at Level 3
Use of a Jacket in an un-matched suit, speaks of authority yet in an accessible way
You can be influential, capable, consistent and dependable as someone a little less formal
This too is a tailored outfit with a few untailored elements added just to soften the look
And though the sari is supreme, the tunic and cigarette pants make quite a statement as well
10. 10. Casually Tailored at Level 2
The cue here is an essential Collar
A lot less formal - the efficient mix of tailored and untailored elements make it more famously know as the Business Casual look
This outfit says that you are approachable, very functional, flexible and relaxed
11. 11. Un-Tailored at Level 1
An Un-tailored outfit indicates no collar. This communicates that you are available, unofficial, agreeable, casual and easy going
It is in absolute contrast to our Level 4 which communicates high authority and credibility
This level is apt for casual at home, work out or sportswear
Worn primarily for comfort, it can well be pulled up to a business casual level by just adding another layer may be in form of a scarf!
12. 12. Make a Statement
We are sure that this picture presentation of an efficient, effective, useable Indian wardrobe for every level of dress will help you find your own personal style even in Indian wear
Communicate all you want just by exchanging and intermixing the key design elements and you’ve made a quiet a statement

Go on ladies……… get noticed !
