Abbey Archives Holdings – Overview 30 ottonian and salien charters from the 10th and 11th century; a total of 3000 deeds on parchment Approx. 3300 board feet historical records (= 1000 linear meters) primarily from the early modern times Fonds e.g. of the abbey Fahr (nunnery near Zurich), Propstei St. Gerold (Vorarlberg, Austria), Collegio Papio in Ascona Records from dissolved abbeys (e.g. Rheinau) and the Swiss Congregation of the Benedictine Confederation Records covering foundations of abbeys in USA (St. Meinrad, Subiaco) and Argentinia (Los Toldos) etc.
