Step1: Need for iLab-t <ul><li>In the WBA project, there was a need to test the technology on a larger scale </li></ul><ul><ul><li>Need for test in larger networks </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>Need for interop testing </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>Need to compare different protocols </li></ul></ul><ul><li>This investment is not possible for OneAccess </li></ul><ul><li>For that reason: </li></ul><ul><ul><li>Strong participation in a number of IBBT projects </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>Heavy supporter of ILab-t </li></ul></ul>

Step2: Deus <ul><li>Our objective was to develop a gateway between sensor cloud and IP-world </li></ul><ul><li>iLab-t was used to develop a stable sensor cloud, to test the deployment, easy configuration, stable sensor network, IDRA </li></ul><ul><li>Gateway and end-to-end data delivery was tested in this environment. </li></ul>

Step 3: GreenWeCan <ul><li>We will develop our own sensors (together with Bausch) and integrate them in a city environment </li></ul><ul><li>iLab-t will allow to benchmark the new developed products and protocols </li></ul><ul><li>For that, we will integrate our own products in iLab-t for integration testing (Contiki, ADI based radio’s) </li></ul>

Step 4 : future? <ul><li>Test bed should be expanded to real-life environment to find solutions for: </li></ul><ul><ul><li>Integration in a city environment with problems of power harvesting, changing radio conditions </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>To find solutions for integration in existing infrastructure (dust bins, parking spots) </li></ul></ul><ul><li>It should be nice to have an iLab-t in a real city environment </li></ul>
