TaB: Touch and Breathe <ul><li>We can get results without tapping: </li></ul><ul><li>In John Diepold´s TaB protocol, you simply touch and hold the point while taking one full breath in and out </li></ul><ul><li>You then move to the next point and continue doing this until you are done TaB-ing, Touching and Breathing </li></ul><ul><li>Some appear to get the results with touch alone, but the breath appears to aid the flow of energy </li></ul><ul><li>Some clients say it is more peaceful as a technique </li></ul>

Alternate Bilateral Tapping <ul><li>Alternate bilateral tapping on the energy meridians might synergistically combine the effects of EMDR & TFT </li></ul><ul><ul><li>Tapping alternately on the points on each side of the body's midline </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>Alternating the tapping may facilitate an increase in the processing and transfer of information from one brain hemisphere to the other that we may not get with simultaneous bilateral tapping or unilateral tapping </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>As with EMDR, it may be wise to refrain from alternate bilateral tapping with anyone who has a history of seizure activity </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>Testing for the mode that works best for each individual may be the most prudent approach </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>(Patrick F.
