• Investors are buying into 3 things: your team, your market,
your product, but they only need 2 of these to invest
• Answer these: What problem are you going to solve? Why
are you going to win?
• Make sure there is a willingness to pay for your prod/
service
• Look at business areas that Google might be interested in
• Have a 1 page business plan
• Develop a powerful story about your business
• Create a founding contract with partners

• Don’t use focus groups to test concepts
• Cheat and copy (a little) to save money
