  2. 2. What is guilt?<br />Guilt is the fact of being responsible for the commission of an offense. It is also a cognitive or an emotional experience that occurs when a person realizes or believes—accurately or not—that he or she has violated a moral standard, and bears significant responsibility for that violation. It is closely related to the concept of remorse.<br />

  4. 4. Why let go of guilt?<br />Don‘t get stuck in guilt – it can paralyze you<br />Guilt is about something that happened in the past. There’s only one reason why you should go back into the past: to learn from it. But you shouldn’t let the past get in the way of your future, and you shouldn’t allow it to take away from your present. <br />Sometimes other people use guilt to manipulate you – don‘t let that happen<br />
